QPayTokEvery group has one: the person who pays the cottage rental up front and then spends three weeks chasing the other four. Screenshots of bank transfers, “I'll send it Friday”, one person who swears they already paid. Payment tokens exist to delete this ritual.
The setup, in two minutes
In QPayTok you create one custom token with the invoice amount as the goal — say 5 000 Kč — and pick dynamic collection. Add a lower limit (nobody contributes 5 Kč as a joke) and the upper limit equal to the invoice, so the pot mathematically cannot be overpaid.
Then you attach actions: when the goal is collected (on_fulfill), pay the invoice with a bank transfer and text everyone a confirmation. If the deadline passes (on_timeout), refund and notify instead. And on_reminder pokes whoever hasn't paid — daily, every few days, or one day before the deadline.
What the friends see
They get one link. The page shows the goal, what's already pledged, and a Contribute button. Each person types their share, name and e-mail or phone, and immediately receives a personal payment token — payable by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or a Czech QR bank transfer. The progress diagram fills up in real time; peer pressure does the rest.
The moment it completes
The instant the fifth share lands, the system pays the invoice automatically and everyone's phone buzzes. Nobody transferred money to a friend's personal account, nobody kept a spreadsheet, and there is a hash-chained audit log of the whole thing.
Whenever two or more people can't agree on who pays — a present, a shared server bill, season tickets — this is the shape of the solution: one goal, many tokens, automatic ending.
